Biography
As I begin my 30th year in public education, it is a privilege to serve in the Coffee County School System. I look forward to continuing my commitment to doing what is best for ALL children, ensuring that every child is provided with the opportunities and supports they need to thrive and succeed.
I am blessed with a loving family that fills my heart with warmth and purpose. My husband, Charles Broaden, and I share the blessing of five beautiful children (each of whom brings their own unique spark to the world). I am also a proud “GiGi” of five beautiful grandchildren, Jason, Elijah, Genesis, Jeremiah, and Josiah. I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. My hobbies include journaling and spending time with family and friends.
I am honored to be a recipient of the 2022 NAFEPA State Leadership Award. I currently serve as Treasurer of the Alabama Association of Federal Education Program Administrators (AAFEPA).
