Betsy Wood
Biography
I am an Opp native and an Opp High School alumni. After high school, I attended Enterprise State Junior College before transferring to The University of Alabama. I graduated with a BS in Food and Nutrition in 2004 and an MS in Human Nutrition in 2005. Upon graduation, I started my career as a clinical dietitian at Southeast Health in Dothan. After fifteen years in the medical field, I had the opportunity to join Coffee County Schools as the CNP Director. I am excited and grateful to serve our students and staff in this role.
I am married to Michael Wood, a Kinston alumni. We have a son, Hudson, who keeps us busy with all things sports. When we are not at a ballfield or gym, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
